Join Jon Gailmor in a songwriting workshop to learn how to write, compose, and perform original music. Jon has been teaching music and stagecraft for over 40 years, and is bringing his workshop to Swanton courtesy of a grant from the Children’s Literacy Fund.
Classes are tailored for all ages.
LITTLE ONES (ages 4-7)

Jon Gailmor has been honored as an “Extraordinary Vermonter” by the governor, received the Mayor’s Peace Prize in Burlington and was awarded a Silver Citation by the Vermont Arts Council.
He sang as Vermont’s representative at the 25 th Anniversary of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., was chosen in 1996 to carry the Olympic Torch through Brattleboro on its way to Atlanta and, in November of 2015, received the Ellen McCulloch-Lovell Award for Arts Education.
He has toured with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, has six solo albums to his credit and lives with his family and other
creatures, among the 800 folks of Elmore, Vermont.
