Library Trustee
The Swanton Public Library has announced a vacant Trustee position on its Library Board of Trustees. The Trustees are responsible for establishing the operational procedures and policies of the library as well as its budget. This is an elected position that receives a small annual compensation. However, vacancies are appointed by the Selectboard after receiving a candidate recommendation from the Library Board of Trustees. The appointment lasts until the next March election at which time any interested person could run for the position.
